Connected Living and Care
Connected Living and Care (CLC) is a registered charitable society presenting a sustainable alternative to conventional retirement homes.
Connected Living and Care (CLC) is a progressive model designed to redefine how society supports its aging population. Unlike conventional retirement homes that separate elders from their familiar surroundings and communities, CLC envisions a connected ecosystem — one that extends community living, care, and engagement directly to the elders’ own dwelling units.
The essence of CLC lies in integration rather than isolation. It leverages technology, community partnerships, and localized service networks to ensure that elders can continue living in the comfort of their homes while remaining closely connected to healthcare, companionship, and social activities. The model promotes “aging in place” — maintaining independence and dignity while ensuring timely access to care and support.
Sustainability is at the heart of CLC. By optimizing existing community infrastructure and resources instead of creating segregated facilities, it reduces environmental and financial burdens. It encourages shared services, digital health monitoring, community engagement platforms, and caregiver networks, creating a holistic ecosystem that is both inclusive and adaptive to individual needs.
CLC aspires to build a continuum of connected care — bridging the gap between independent living and assisted care. It nurtures mental well-being, fosters social interaction, and enhances the sense of belonging among elders. Through this model, communities evolve into intergenerational spaces where elders are valued participants, not isolated dependents.
In essence, Connected Living and Care is not just a housing or healthcare solution — it’s a social transformation framework that reimagines elder living with empathy, sustainability, and innovation.
